Administrator
Katie Maniatis, MS, CHES, LNHA
Katie Maniatis has been the Administrator of Alden Orland Park Rehabilitation and Health Care Center since October 2008. Prior to accepting this position, Katie served as the Director of Patient Relations from March 2006 to January 2008, when she accepted the position of Assistant Administrator. Before coming to Alden, she held a position in public relations at a local hospital. Prior to that Katie administered a grant funded program for obese children and worked in cardiac rehabilitation. Katie has also held a position in long-term care as an Admission Director. She has a bachelor's degree in Community Health Education and a master's degree in Exercise Physiology from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois. She now plans to pursue a master's degree in Health Care Administration. Katie is a Certified Health Education Specialist and received her Nursing Home Administrator License in January 2007.
Director of Nursing
Veekee Corcuera, RN
Veekee joined Alden Orland Park as the Director of Nursing in September 2007. Prior to coming to Alden Orland Park, she worked as a Nursing Supervisor at Oak Forest Hospital in Oak Forest for 30 years as well as at other hospitals throughout the Chicagoland area. Veekee also worked at a long-term care facility for a number of years. In her role as Director of Nursing, Veekee ensures nursing personnel maintain the highest standards of quality care. She advises Medical Staff members and Managers about ‘best practices’ in the field of rehabilitation and long-term care nursing. Veekee received her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Philippine Women’s University in Manila.
Assistant Director of Nursing
Cindy Corcuera, RN, BSN
Cindy joined Alden Orland Park as Assistant Director of Nursing in August 2007. In her role as ADON, Cindy assists in overseeing and managing nursing personnel, advising staff regarding patient care protocols and establishing nursing goals and objectives to meet the needs of patients and residents. Before coming to Alden Orland Park, Cindy worked in the Telemetry Unit at Palos Community Hospital in Palos Hills and served as a traveling nurse.
Admission Director
Christina Murdoch
Christina joined Alden Orland Park in October 2006 as Social Service Assistant. She was promoted to her current position in October 2007. In her role, Christina is instrumental in assisting prospective rehabilitation patients and long-term care residents in identifying the best rehabilitation and health care center for their needs. She has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from St. Xavier College in Chicago.
